Comfort Isn't What You Think It Is
Ever been in dire need of comfort? A comforting hug, a comforting word from a friend, parent, or spouse? A comforting meal or place to lay your head to rest? This word is much deeper and layered than we may think. In this episode, we follow a devotional titled "When God Doesn't Make Sense". And in this devo, we learned that this word "comfort" actually morphed and had a different original meaning than what we recognize today, yet it still makes perfect sense and is so fitting with how God gives us comfort by granting us strength to go through difficulties, not just taking difficulties away from us altogether.
